Routine For Your Skin

• Drink plenty of water through the day, especially when your outdoors. The body requires water to function properly and skin is the first to lose its moisture when we don’t supply our body with enough water.

• Wash your face immediately when you come back home to wash off all the sweat and dirt before it embeds on your skin and darken it. Don’t rely on your fancy face washes, use a good cleanser that will effectively clean your skin.
• Use a face scrub once a week to scrub off the dead skin cells that make the skin look dark and dull.

• Never forget to moisturize your skin before going to bed. Moisturizing helps replenish the lost moisture; helps repair the skin and prepare your skin for the coming battle with sun rays.
• Milk is the best and most natural skin whitening agent. Drink a glass of cold milk before going to bed and keep your skin beautiful, healthy, glowing and white inside and out.
• Use the weekends to do a few great skin whitening facials on your skin.

Natural Ingredients Home Made Products

 Skin Whitening Face Wash:
• Forget the fancy expensive face wash from the market shelves. Use fine gram flour, keep it in a jar in your bathroom. Take round about a tablespoon in your palm, make a paste with a little tap water and apply it on your wet face. Leave it for a minute or two (you don’t need to dry it), give it time to suck out the dirt and sweat off your skin pores, then wash off with cold water.
• If you want something much stronger, make a paste of barley flour with lemon juice and rose water. Apply it to your wet face and leave it to dry slightly. Wash it off with cold water. This is a great skin whitening treatment.
• If you have pimples problem then add a small quantity of ground azadirachta indica leaves (neem) to your gram or barely flour. This disinfects the skin, helps heal the pimples and protects your skin from getting more pimples.

Make a potato mask. Potatoes may contain bleaching agents that make the skin lighter while treating blemishes. Mash raw potato into a pulp, make a paste with a bit of milk, and apply to skin, leaving for 15 minutes. Alternately, apply raw potato slices to skin and leave for 15 minutes.
Make an almond mask. Soak some almonds in water overnight. Dump out water, blend almonds with either honey or milk, and apply as a paste to skin. After it dries, wash it off gently.
Make a tomato mask. Another natural bleaching agent, tomato can be mixed raw with a bit of lemon juice and applied as a paste to the skin. Leave for 15 minutes before washing off.

Make a flour Mask. Take 3 tsp flour, 1 tsp fresh milk and 1 tsp lemon juice, add these components to each other and mix mixing well to be formed soft dough is placed on the skin. leave this mask on the skin for 20 minutes and then removed with warm water. This mask recipe is only for normal skin.

Honey & Yeast Mask. Take 1 tsp honey, 1 tsp fresh milk powder and yeast tablets (Yeast tablets can be obtained from the nearest medical store). Blend the yeast tablets well, mix all the ingredients and make creamy mask. Apply this mask on face and neck with brush. This mask is good for nourishing dry skin.

Banana Mask. Mash the banana, and placed them milk and mix well. Distributes the mixture on the skin with a focus on the dark places in the skin. Leave for a quarter of an hour and then wash the face with water, the water, but be tepid.

Yogurt mask. Yogurt masks may sound weird, but they actually do work. Why? because yogurt contains probiotics (active cultures) which are effective for soothing skin irritations and acne. The lactic acid in yogurt also helps to get rid of dead skin cells and shrink pores.

If a yogurt mask is used for a long period of time, it will subtly lighten and even out your skin tone.

Method:

A tablespoon of yoghurt should be enough to cover your entire face. Spread the yogurt evenly on your face with a cotton pad or an old foundation brush (don’t your fingers!). Leave it on for 10-20 minutes until the mask has dried. Rinse off with warm water.

Although there are no limits on the type of yogurt you can use, I would recommend one with a thicker texture, simply to avoid dripping and mess.

Wash Your Face With These

Rice water

Washing your face with rice water can make your skin whiter and more transparent. This is because rice contains antioxidants which protect our skin from the sun.

Rice water is made by soaking uncooked rice with..well…water. It is the same process as washing your rice before you cook it; except, instead of tipping the water down the drain, you’re going to use it to wash your face.

Chickpea Flour

If you have very oily skin, chickpea flour might be good for you! Mix with water, floral waters, yoghurt, … and apply in the same way as clay or orris root powder.

You can buy it in most Asian or health food stores!

Cotton Pad and Oil

Apply just a few drops of oil (jojoba, olive, argan, almond, apricot kernel, evening primrose, …) on a moistened cotton pad and gently wipe across your face without rubbing. Splash with water afterwards.

Raw Organic Honey

Raw organic honey is an extremely mild cleanser with antibacterial and moisturizing benefits! Simply apply, leave on for a few minutes up to half an hour, rinse. Be careful with your hair!

Water

Yes, water! I‘m not kidding! Chlorine or limescale are a common cause of itchy, red, dry and flaky skin. So if your tap water happens to be very limy, try to use mineral, filtered (or at least boiled) water to splash your face. This might make a huge difference for some people!

Tips:

After you done washing your face, finally sluice your face with cold water.
Watch what works best for your skin and try to mix it with other ingredients for good results.
Remember, the more ingredients you use for making your cleanser, the more benefit your face will get.
